Salary: negotiable between £42,000 and £47,000
Are you an inspirational leader with a passion for ensuring that communities continue to be well served by local voluntary organisations in challenging times?
The voluntary and community sector is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities arising from changes in social policy and the funding environment. In Staffordshire, there are currently 7 individual councils for voluntary service organised at local authority district level. An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced and committed individual to lead the merger of the existing organisations into a newly formed company, which will seek to provide services to the voluntary and community sector across Staffordshire. While some initial work has been done, the successful applicant will have the scope to bring their own innovative approach to shape the way in which the new company develops.
Applications will also be considered from persons interested only in leading the merger process – this would be on a fixed term contract basis.
